Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog! I'm so happy that you decided to stop in today. I hope that everyone had a productive week and a relaxing, safe weekend.
I had a good week and a relaxing weekend. Between all of my coffee breaks, I continued working on my YA novel, as well as on revising a couple of younger children's stories that I have been working on. I came up with a couple of new story ideas as well.
An update on my recently submitted work, I am still anxiously waiting to hear back from Underneath the Juniper Tree. I submitted a poem to The Bleed Magazine a couple of weeks ago and I am waiting to hear from them as well. I just sent in a short story to The Brooklyn Voice a couple of days ago. I submitted a short fun fact piece to knowonder.com for Dr. Seuss's birthday around a week ago and they accepted it. It appeared on their website on 3/2/2012. You can read it here http://www.knowonder.com/2012/03/03/fun-facts-friday-who-am-i-2/.
I was thrilled yesterday to receive a free e-book of The Forever Girl by Rebecca Hamilton, from Rebecca herself. :) I started reading it last night and so far it is awesome! It is so hard for me to get my hands on good reading material over here in my little corner of the world in Egypt, so of course I am thrilled!
I want to thank you all for taking this journey with me. I hope that you will continue to join me here on Mondays and keep updated on my progress. Next Monday I plan on sharing with you a little peek into the YA novel that I'm working on. Until then, stay safe and have a blessed week. :)
