Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! I hope that you had a good week and a relaxing, peaceful weekend.
My week went very well. It was full of writing, coffee, writing, coffee, writing, and well, you get the picture. I continued writing more poetry, working on my YA novel, and working on a couple of other MG novels that I had previously started as well. I entered one of my poems into the Writer’s Digest Annual Writing Competition. I also submitted a short fun fact piece to Knowonder.com for consideration. I feel that my week was a fairly productive one.
I told you that I would update you with any news about work that I submitted over the past couple of weeks. The children’s picture book that I submitted to Sleepytown Press for their “New Voice” contest, did not win, :( but I refuse to give up hope of it getting published with some fantastic, lucky publisher sooner or later! :) I had submitted several poems and limericks to Underneath the Juniper Tree, and I have not heard from them yet as to whether or not they have accepted any of them. I’m still not sure when my “Writer’s Spotlight” will appear on their website, but I will keep you posted.
My dream is to become a published author of not only one YA or MG novel, but of many, and on an ongoing basis, so I hope that those of you who frequently visit my blog, and all newcomers as well, will continue to visit and take this journey to publication of mine with me. Thank you all so much for joining me in my little corner of the world again today! I hope to see you back next Monday, and until then, have a safe and blessed week! :)
