Hello everyone. I hope that you are having a peaceful and relaxing weekend. I'm glad you decided to join me again today.
This morning between all of my coffee breaks I've been working on a couple of children's stories that I started a couple of weeks ago. With some of my work, I tend to sit it aside and come back to it every couple of days to work on it more. I have also been working on a couple of new poems for submission to Underneath the Juniper Tree. I've decided that I'm going to take a break from writing this afternoon and bake a carrot cake. I found the best recipe ever online and I was completely amazed at the results! I had never made a carrot cake before and it was scrumptious! I would have to say that it was probably the best carrot cake that I have ever eaten! Sorry Mom :)
I do have a tad bit of good news. I have been living in Egypt for almost a year now and I may (got my fingers crossed) be returning to the United States to visit sometime in the next month. I have spent a lot of time in Egypt through the years due to a couple of my children who live here, so I have had the good fortune of enjoying both worlds. I will keep everyone posted.
Well, I'm going to run now. I've got to fill that coffee mug and get back to working on my stories. I hope to see you all back tomorrow. Until then, have a blessed day.
